Tripadvisor debuts travel series on Prime Video: Travel Weekly
Tripadvisor has launched a new limited series, “The Wanderer,” on Prime Video, featuring destinations around the world.
The series follows experience seekers traveling to international destinations, “creating a series of innovative, long-form travel guides,” Tripadvisor said. Each destination has a different presenter to offer multiple perspectives.
“The Wanderer” comes from Wanderlab, Tripadvisor’s in-house content studio launched last month. The series offers sponsorship opportunities for destination management organizations and other advertisers.
The first episode, Tripadvisor said, came out of a larger partnership with the Turkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency.
Itineraries followed on the show are developed using Tripadvisor’s traveler intent data, as well as with local DMOs. Episodes will be promoted via paid media placements on Tripadvisor.
The first episode is live now, with more to be released in coming weeks.
