In a recently released statement, the Croatian National Tourism Board (CNTB) emphasised that next year will be the year of official travel recovery, and in order to get more precise results, the magazine editors divided the article into categories due to high demand and supply as well, SchengenVisaInfo.com reports.

In this regard, categories have been created with the theme of cultural tourism, eno-gastronomy, city break tourism, and many others.

According to the CNTB, along with the island of Hvar, other destinations such as Ghana, Gorée Island, the Galapagos Islands, and Greenland are also included.

“Hvar is the island with the greatest number of sunny days in Croatia, with over 100 miles of bike paths, and kayak trips to secluded beaches are also highlighted,” the Galápagos Islands and Greenland Editor Nina Ruggiero pointed out in this regard.

In addition, the magazine has highlighted that Hvar has a clear night sky, which allows for an incredible view of the stars, as well as the town of Jelsa, which this year was declared the first international dark sky community in Southern Europe. The same also promises a spectacular view of the clear, bright sky.

At the same time, many hotels that are affordable and sustainable are frequented on the island of Hvar, which is also highlighted as Beach Bay, since it opened last summer with a solar energy system and an obligation to respect the promise of sustainable travel of UNESCO.

Recently, Croatia has been in the spotlight for being a promising and loved tourist destination. During this month, the British travel magazine Wanderlust named Croatia as one of the most desirable European destinations and ranked it in 5th place.

After Croatia, the list was also followed by Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Germany, and Scotland. Moreover, the island of Hvar was ranked 7th in the category of the top ten island destinations in the EU.

The same source also said that in terms of prices in the EU, the Croatian city of Dubrovnik was selected as the most desirable tourist city.

In October, Dubrovnik was ranked 12th in the Wanderlust Readers’ Choice Awards and was named one of the friendliest cities in Europe this year for its architecture, history, and art scene.
