Costa Rica Introduces Innovative Workstation Tailored For Digital Nomads

Situated in the heart of San Jose amidst charming cafes and restaurants, Costa Rica Backpackers Hostel has unveiled a dedicated Workstation designed for global digital nomads.

Among the amenities offered at the Workstation are complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, complimentary coffee, tea, and water, free parking, standing desks equipped with electrical outlets, ergonomic seating, access to printing, copying, and scanning facilities, colonial-style rooms with wooden flooring, and access to a tropical garden.

“Our patrons at the Workstation building have easy access to our hospitality accommodations there as well as right next door at Costa Rica Backpackers and Costa Rica Guesthouse,” said Vincent Garnier, owner of a hospitality group created in 2001 in the country.

As per Alexandra Gonzalez, general manager of three local accommodations, digital nomads perceive Costa Rica’s cost-of-living index to be about half that of the USA and many European countries.

The idea of establishing a backpackers’ hostel in Latin America was ignited in 1995 by Vincent Garnier, the owner of a local renowned hospitality group.

The Costa Rica Workstation marks the most recent expansion endeavor among several others being contemplated by Garnier and his management team.
