Vietnam extends temporary stay to 45 days for citizens from 13 nations – TravelDailyNews Asia

Starting 15th August 2023, Vietnam lengthens the permitted stay duration to 45 days for citizens of 13 countries, enhancing its visa waiver program and promoting international travel.

Effective 15th August 2023, the Vietnamese government has endorsed an extension in the temporary stay duration from 15 days to 45 days for citizens of 13 key countries. This initiative aims to foster international relations and ease travel constraints.

The countries set to benefit from this visa waiver and extended stay duration include: Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Belarus. Citizens from these nations, irrespective of their passport type or entry purpose, will be eligible for a 45-day stay, contingent upon meeting all entry conditions as stipulated by Vietnamese legislation.
