Stonehenge II, Ingram
Located at 120 Point Theater Road in Ingram, Texas, the Hill Country Arts Foundation property now houses a replica of the English Stonehenge that is about two-thirds the size of the original.
It simulates the appearance of Stonehenge before weather and erosion obscured some of the original construction. The biggest difference, aside from size, is that these stones are much lighter; those from Stonehenge weigh more than four tons. They are made of plaster attached to a wire mesh frame.
