His prior stints include leadership roles at Welcomhotel The Savoy, Mussoorie, ITC Windsor, Bengaluru, and ITC Grand Central, Mumbai. In his new role, Amit is set to further elevate the brand Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, focusing on customer acquisition through unique, immersive experiences. Amaan Kidwai, another illustrious alumnus, this time from IHM Mumbai, has been appointed as the ITC Hotels Area Manager for Luxury Hotels (North) and General Manager – ITC Maurya. Amaan’s extensive background, particularly in Food & Beverage service, complements his new role, where he will oversee operations across the Northern region’s luxury ITC Hotels (ITC Maurya-New Delhi, ITC Grand Bharat-Gurugram, ITC Mughal-Agra, and ITC Rajputana-Jaipur), as well as properties under the brand Mementos.

Amaan’s journey with ITC Hotels began as a Hotel Executive Trainee, after which he ascended through various key positions in the Luxury Collection of ITC Hotels. His career highlights include a significant tenure as General Manager at ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru. Amaan’s leadership during the challenging times of the pandemic has been particularly noteworthy, leading to transformative initiatives and operational excellence.
